To celebrate World Book Day, Ashton House Prep School had a fun filled week which was centred around reading. As well as taking part in many competitions, we held our annual Character Parade. Last week Year 6 invited their parents into school for some codebreaking puzzles. .
Along with their children they had to solve a murder mystery problem by looking at ciphers and decoding them.

On Monday, Year 4 visited the Natural History Museum to take part in a workshop called, ‘Save The Planet!’. Year 4 showed how great they are at working in teams to plan, design and create a solution to prevent pollution occurring in our oceans. After making their wonderful creations, they had the opportunity to present their ideas to each other. The staff at the Natural History Museum were so impressed! Well Done, Year 4!

In food tech club we created our own smoothies. We chopped up different fruits and blended them together with milk and ice-cream. We then poured our yummy mixture in to bottles and created our own labels.
