Welcome to the PTA!

We’re thrilled to introduce your dynamic PTA team for the 2024 school year! Meet Anaisa (Chairwoman), Angard (Treasurer), and Manisha (Secretary), along with our fantastic Headteacher, Mr. Smith. We’re here to bring parents, teachers, and students together to create an even more vibrant school community. Whether you’re a returning family or new to the school, we can’t wait to get to know you!

What We’ve Been Up To
Last year was a blast! We raised funds through our events that are used towards workshops for our pupils, such as first aid. We have also kicked off a few exciting initiatives, like our very first uniform sale and a holiday club that the kids absolutely loved. Thanks to everyone who joined in – we couldn’t have done it without your support!

What’s Coming Next?
Hold onto your hats because we’ve got some fantastic plans in the works:

• More Accessible PTA Meetings: We know how busy life gets! To help more parents get involved, we’re trialling meetings right after school, with free after-school care for the little ones. Yes, that’s right—no babysitter needed!
• Roman Day & Beyond: For Upper School, we’re bringing history to life with an exciting ‘Roman Day’. Got ideas for similar events for Lower School? We’d love to hear them!
• Silly Science Workshop: Science is about to get a whole lot sillier with a workshop that’s sure to leave the kids giggling and learning at the same time. The workshop will be tailored to each age group, so everyone gets in on the fun!
• Christmas Party: Last year’s Christmas party was a HUGE success, and we’re bringing back the crowd-favourite entertainer before he gets snapped up for the season.

Supporting Our School
We’re also proud to be donating to boost the school library, making sure our kids have plenty of fantastic books to dive into, as we have been doing for the past years. We’ll be working closely with the school to handpick titles that suit every age group.

A Big Thank You to Our School Community
With the school’s new outdoor learning spaces and a focus on emotional intelligence this year, it’s a great time to be part of our community. Together, we’re building something really special. So, whether you’re keen to volunteer, share your ideas, or just stay in the loop, we’d love for you to join us on this exciting journey!

Spooks and Spells

Mark your calendars for a frightfully fun evening as we gear up for our next PTA event—Spooks and Spells!

Date: Friday, 18th October 2024
Time: Kicking off earlier this year at 5:30 PM (so we can pack in even more thrills!)
Place: The School Playground, which will be transformed into a Spooktacular Halloween wonderland!

Expect spine-tingling fun for all ages with creepy crafts, ghoulish games, and hauntingly good snacks. Come in your best costumes—whether you’re a wicked witch, a sneaky ghost, or something in between—and enjoy a night filled with tricks, treats, and spooky surprises.

Bring the whole family for a night of magic, mystery, and mayhem. We can’t wait to see you there!

PTA Christmas Party 

It’s the most magical time of the year, and we’re thrilled to invite you to our PTA Christmas Party!

🎄 Entry? £3 per person (cashless event)

We’ve got an evening packed with festive fun for all ages! Here’s a sneak peek at what’s waiting for you:

🎨 Face painting to transform little ones into Christmas elves, reindeer, or sparkly snowflakes
✨ Creative Christmas decoration-making stations
🍕 Delicious pizza, samosas, and more treats to keep the festive cheer alive!

Don’t forget to wear your most Christmassy outfit—whether it’s a jumper, Santa hat, or reindeer antlers. Let’s fill the evening with sparkle, laughter, and holiday spirit.
